Luxton Construction is a private company built based on entrepreneurial values. Our leadership team is actively engaged in day-to-day operations of Luxton. They draw from 50+ years of hands-on experience in multiple managerial rolls in the construction industry in Western Canada.

Amir

Amir
Kassaian

Principal / General Manager 

Mr. Amir Kassaian is one of Luxton’s principal owners and the current General Manager. Mr. Kassaian is a results-driven Professional Engineer with over two decades of experience in large scale infrastructure and energy projects throughout Canada. He is an effective communicator and motivator at all levels, with expertise in putting high-performing teams together. Mr. Kassaian is an expert in leadership of technical staff, construction operations, project management, contract and risk management, and financial management. In 2021, Mr. Kassaian was named one of On-Site Magazine’s Top 40 Under 40. Mr. Kassaian holds a BASC in Civil
Engineering and a Masters of Engineering in Project and Construction Management from the University of British Columbia.

Asko Puranen

Principal / Chief Estimator

Mr. Asko William Puranen is another founding member of Luxton Construction and its group of companies. Performing the duty of Chief Estimator for the group with over 20 years experience in the Construction Industry specializing in Public Works tenders and complex multidisciplinary infrastructure projects ranging up to 100M plus. Mr. Puranen is focused on procurement, sustainable growth and fostering relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors. As the executive chief estimator for the group of companies, Mr. Puranen plays a critical role in determining project budgets, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that all cost estimates are accurate, comprehensive, and aligned with project goals. Through his expertise and leadership skills, Mr. Puranen plays a crucial role in the success of all projects. He is a graduate of University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry/Physics).

Pedram

Pedram Farzadmanesh

Principal / Director of Operations

Mr. Pedram Farzadmanesh is one of the founders and pioneers of Luxton Construction. As the group of companies’ current Director of Operations, he is focused on guiding the company’s development and its delivery of premium construction services in support of industrial, municipal, and commercial infrastructure projects. He specializes in developing high-performing teams, and providing technical oversight, strategic advice, and stakeholder engagement across a variety of demographics including government, indigenous, and community groups. Forward- thinking construction leader, Mr. Farzadmanesh has extensive experience on some of the most complex construction projects proposed Canada in the past decades. He is a Mechanical Engineer and holds an MBA from University of Alberta.
