Skilled Labourer/ Operator/ Foreman

Full-Time - Vancouver, BC

Job Description

Luxton Construction is a diverse, multidisciplinary contractor specialized in logistically challenging and complex public works projects.

We are looking for full-time Skilled Labourers, Operators and Foremans to join our team. Employees receive $50/working day living out allowance, and paid accommodation for work performed outside of the lower mainland, or home base on top of wages.

Qualifications

Labourer Qualifications
  • Must be able to lift and carry equipment and materials weighing up to 50lbs. for short durations
  • Flexible to take on different tasks
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Read and interpret site plans and blueprints
  • Ability to operate machinery an asset
  • Valid driver's license
  • Communicate project progress to project manager as required
  • Experienced with supervision of workers and on-site safety protocols
  • Valid driver's license
  • Positive attitude, energetic and enthusiastic
  • Willingness to travel for work
  • Willingness to work outside exposed to weather elements
  • Ability to operate machinery an asset
Foreman/Operator Qualifications
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in the construction industry (minimum 5 years)
  • Ability to read and interpret site plans and blueprints
  • Communicate project progress to project manager as required
  • Experienced with supervision of workers and on-site safety protocols
  • Ability to operate machinery
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willingness to travel for work
  • Willingness to work outside exposed to weather elements

Schedule

10 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Overtime Weekends
